The Austrian Andreas Nikolaus Lauda, Niki Lauda won three world titles in Formula 1, Ferrari by two (1975 and 1977) and McLaren (1984).
From the city of Vienna, born on February 22, 1949, the pilot's career nearly ended after the serious accident suffered in the German Grand Prix 1976 at the Nurburgring.
Lauda's Ferrari burst into flames and he was trapped for several minutes to hardware. With first-degree burns, even received the last rites from a priest at the hospital.
