Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro is a Portuguese footballer who plays as a left

winger. Currently for Manchester United and the Portuguese national team. He is the

player with most goals in official games in the history of football. Often regarded as

one of the best and most complete players of all time, he was voted the best player in

the world FIFA and by France Football received the Ballon d'Or award, a total of five

times: 2008, 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2017. He has also won the UEFA Golden Boot

award a total of four times. He won the UEFA Best Player in Europe award three

times and the UEFA Best Club Player award once.

Ronaldo began his career in the basic categories of the Andorinha de Santo António

Football Club. In 1995, he joined Clube Desportivo Nacional and his success with the

team led him to sign with Sporting Clube de Portugal for two seasons. Ronaldo's

precocious talent caught the attention of then Manchester United manager Alex

Ferguson. In 2003, when he was just eighteen years old, Ronaldo signed a contract

with the club and paid around 15 million euros to Sporting Clube Portugal. In the

following season, he won his first title with Manchester United, the FA Cup, and

reached the final of the 2004 European Football Championship with Portugal, in

which he scored his first international goal, but did not avoid defeat against Greece.

Ronaldo was included in the ideal team of this competition.

For me, he is an inspiration for being very dedicated, training a lot, being a great

leader on the field and the best player in history
