The aim of this report is to describe the discussion carried out last Wednesday, with James Geller, our business consultant. It is based on information collected with his team and also some information from an interview that was made with local people.

The subject was to analyze the viability of a fast food on a corner of Paulista Avenue. Although there are three other restaurants on the same avenue, two of them are competing brands.

Paulista Avenue is a busy street, with a huge variety of business, what attracts a lot of consumers. The fast food we are intended to open does not compete with others brands, because it has clientele made. Anyway, we must invest on the decoration, to call the attention of those who are not on this group.

The start-up costs for the fast food will total $60.000, as expected, considering construction, equipment, employees and final details. As we plan in the future open another restaurant, James pointed we must count the future investments. The start-up costs are under control, but it is highly advisable to maintain funds for unexpected events.

The proposal of a fast food in the chosen area seems to be a viable option due to the characteristics of the business demonstrated in this report. The location is very convenient, once the corner we chose is almost 1km away from other competing brand restaurant.
