A indústria da construção civil é caracterizada pelos altos índices de desperdício e pela baixa produtividade. Uma filosofia que vem ganhando espaço é a do Lean Construction que visa eliminar esses desperdícios através da aplicação de 11 princípios. Sabe-se também que o sistema de vedações verticais, apesar de não representar um custo muito grande para a obra quando analisado sozinho, quando analisado juntamente aos sistemas com que tem interface tem grande relevância por interferir em todo planejamento da obra e representar grande parcela de seu orçamento. Portanto, o presente trabalho vem a analisar sob a ótica do Lean Construction qual técnica construtiva, entre vedação vertical interna entre drywall de gesso acartonado e alvenaria convencional de bloco cerâmico, mais se destaca. Essa comparação foi realizada a partir de um estudo de caso em duas empresas da cidade de Aracaju/SE que foram avaliadas através de observação e coleta de dados das mesmas. Constatou-se então através da análise realizada e do uso da escala Likert que a vedação vertical de drywall de gesso acartonado é mais eficiente para as obras em relação aos princípios do Lean Construction.

The construction industry is characterized by high rates of waste and low producti-vity. A philosophy that has been gaining ground is that of Lean Construction, which aims to eliminate such waste through the application of 11 principles. It is also known that the system of vertical fences, although it does not represent a great cost for the work when analyzed alone, when analyzed together with the systems with which it has interface has great relevance for interfering in all planning of the work and represent a large portion of your budget. Therefore, the present work comes to analyze from the point of view of the Lean Construction which constructive techni-que, between internal vertical sealing between gypsum drywall and conventional masonry of ceramic block, stands out more. This comparison was made based on a case study in two companies in the city of Aracaju / SE that were evaluated through observation and data collection. It was then verified through the analysis performed and the use of the Likert scale that the vertical sealing of drywall is more efficient for the constructions in relation to the principles of Lean Construction.
