The band started when the brothers Angus and Malcolm were presented to the rock and roll by George, his older brother. The two played in bands separately until in 1973, when they decided to form the AC / DC. The first line-up was Angus on lead guitar, Malcolm on rhythm guitar, Colin Burgess on drums, Van Knedt on bass and Dave Evans on vocals, debuting in the Australian club Sydney's Chequers.

Some time later they recorded their first single, it was decided that the former driver of the band, Bon Scott would take the vocals. Impressively, the band's lineup has moved several times until the release of "High Voltage" in 1975.
