Verbs

To Pass, passed : move or cause to move in a specified direction, change from one state or condition to another, [with object] go past or across; leave behind or on one side in proceeding , [with object] transfer (something) to someone, especially by handing or bequeathing it to the next person in a series : “ Please , pass the meat “.

To accept, accepted : consent to receive (a thing offered): he accepted a pen as a present , give an affirmative answer to (an offer or proposal); say yes to: he would accept their offer and see what happened , receive as adequate, valid, or suitable.

To manage, managed : [with object] be in charge of (a company, establishment, or undertaking); administer; run: “their elder son managed the farm”, administer and regulate (resources under one’s control): ‘we manage our cash extremely well’

Vocabulary

Soft: not hard or firm; changing its shape when pressed “The crabs are plucked from the water before their soft shells have had a chance to harden”

Loud: producing or capable of producing much noise; easily audible: “they were kept awake by loud music she had a loud voice”

Tone: a musical or vocal sound with reference to its pitch, quality, and strength: “the piano tone appears monochrome or lacking in warmth”

Refined: Someone who is refined is polite, graceful, and aware of quality and style: “The hotel lobby reflects the refined taste of the owners”

Imaginary: existing only in the imagination: “Chris had imaginary conversations with her”

Scholarship: the qualities, methods, or achievements of a scholar, a scholarship is also money given to someone to help pay for that person's education: Recent scholarship has addressed this scientific issue.

Partnership: one of two people who do something together or are closely involved in some way: “Children, hold your partner’s hand when you cross the street.”

Luggage: the bags or other containers that you take your possessions in when traveling; baggage: “The luggage of our tour group was piled up next to the bus.”

Guest: a person who is invited to visit the home of or take part in a function organized by another: I have two guests
