The Chinese built their first civilization on a river, the Huang He, in the northern of China. The earliest Chinese cities were Yangshao and Longshan. Most people in these cities were farmers along the Huang He. Early Chinese also made pottery, they created the first dictionary, they used water mills to grind rice into flour, and created the porcelain.
Religion:
ying and yang: Ying was darkness and weakness, while yang was brightness and strength. the Chinese believed that when the ying and yang were balanced there would be peace.
Confucianism: confucius lived in a time of many wars. he wanted law and order. he thought that keeping peace was the highest goal of government. he said that the best rulers were just and fair. Confucius didn't write any books. his followers collected his sayings and wrote them down. confucius also put a high value on family.
Daoism: daoism teaches people to follow the way of nature. in other words, people should look to nature to see how to live.
China's political system refers to the political structure, fundamental laws, rules, regulations and practices that are implemented in China's mainland and regulate the state power, government, and the relationships between the state and society in the People's Republic of China.
Economy: The socialist market economy of China is the world's second largest economy. It is the world's fastest-growing major economy, it is also the largest exporter and second largest importer of goods, and is the largest manufacturing economy in the world.
Chinese art is greatly influenced by the country’s rich spiritual and mystical history. Many sculptures and paintings depict spiritual figures of Buddhism. Eastern-style martial arts were also developed in China, and it is the birthplace of kung fu, which translates to human achievement. seven main dialects of Chinese — Mandarin, Cantonese, Hakka, Wu, Min, Xiang and Gan.
