RESUMO

Define-se como segurança do paciente a ausência de danos desnecessários ou que possam ocorrer o mesmo, decorrente dos cuidados de saúde e os eventos adversos são incidentes que ocorrem durante a prestação do cuidado à saúde e que resultam em dano ao paciente, dano este que pode ser físico, social e psicológico, incluindo lesão, sofrimento, incapacidade ou morte Para o alcance do objetivo foi selecionado o estudo do tipo revisão integrativa, utilizando artigos que identifique importância do papel do enfermeiro frente o gerenciamento da equipe de enfermagem para promover e garantir a segurança do paciente nos serviços de saúde. Foram coletados artigos na língua portuguesa brasileira na base de dados da LILACS no período de 2017 á 2021, através dos descritores “Segurança do paciente”, “Gestão” e “Enfermagem”. Foram selecionados 10 artigos para análise. Observou-se que a maioria dos artigos foram publicados nos anos de 2017 e 2019. Nessa análise foram encontradas 03 categorias temáticas “Diálogo, suporte e capacitação da equipe”, “Comunicação efetiva dos eventos adversos” e “Disponibilização dos recursos humanos e materiais”. Foi possível observar que o enfermeiro frente a gerencia de enfermagem assume papel fundamental na prevenção de eventos adversos tendo como responsabilidade a conscientização de sua equipe através de educação continuada, realizando os registros e notificações de eventos adversos para posterior planejamento de medidas e a disposição adequada dos recursos humanos e materiais. Contudo, é de suma importância que a equipe multiprofissional envolvida seja conscientizada sobre os riscos que os pacientes estão expostos e as medidas adequadas e necessárias que devem ser adotadas em seu cotidiano profissional. É claro o crescente interesse científico na temática da segurança do paciente, o que é positivo para a realização de diagnóstico e proposição de estratégias que possam impactar de forma positiva fatores relacionados a eventos adversos e segurança do paciente.

ABSTRACT

Patient safety is defined as the absence of unnecessary or may occur damage resulting from health care and adverse events are incidents that occur during the provision of health care and result in damage to the patient, damage that can be physical, social and psychological, including injury, suffering, disability or death To achieve the objective was selected the study of the type integrative review, using articles that identify the importance of the role of nurses in front of the management of the nursing team to promote and ensure patient safety in health services. Articles were collected in Brazilian Portuguese from lilacs database scans from 2017 to 2021, using the descriptors "Patient safety", "Management" and "Nursing". 10 articles were selected for analysis. It was observed that most of the articles were published in 2017 and 2019. In this analysis, 03 thematic categories "Dialogue, support and training of the team", "Effective communication of adverse events" and "Availability of human and material resources" were found. It was possible to observe that the nurse in front of the nursing management assumes a fundamental role in the prevention of adverse events, taking as responsibility the awareness of their team through continuing education, performing the records and notifications of adverse events for subsequent planning of measures and the adequate disposition of human and material resources. However, it is of paramount importance that the multidisciplinary team involved be made aware of the risks that patients are exposed to and the appropriate and necessary measures that should be adopted in their daily professional life. It is clear the growing scientific interest in the theme of patient safety, which is positive for the diagnosis and proposition of strategies that can positively impact factors related to adverse events and patient safety.
