The concept of the statement is to provide the necessary data to contribute to achieve a medium and long term objective desired.

Reflection

I am Erico Gomes Rutkoski, 29 years old, Brazilian, male, marriage and also, I am a Graphic Designer with over 10 years of work experience. Regarding education I studied international business in Brazil for 4 years, which drove me to move to Ireland in order to learn English, where I’ve been living for over 3 years

What motivates me the most are innovation and education because they are key drivers to achieve any objectives and goals that could possibly emerge or that could have been previously decided. Besides, they open innumerable future opportunities which is not just related with work but also with personal experiences, such as learning new cultures, living abroad and self-knowledge. I am really fascinated by human behaviour specially when is regarding to consumer styles and how to manage them.

Work space is an environment where responsibility and commitment should always be present for all those involved, however respect and communication are some of the main keys to have successful team. Therefore, as a professional I am proactive and dedicate to the company needs as well as establishing a good relationship with my colleges.

My career has started with a technical course in Graphic Designer (2 years) when I was 14 years old and since then I’ve been involved with this field. Moving forward a couple of years a business passion has begun which led me to college where developed some of my objectives and behaviour. Merging those experiences as a result formed my professional conduct, which is steering by innovation and strategic.

Education was one of the strongest reason for all my big decisions taken and includes professionally and personally, such as career or living abroad. However, personality also define how I set my goals and the path to achieve them.

The ability to work under pressure while handling a number of the tasks makes me learning quickly as well as managing all my interests. As a Graphic Designer all the deadlines given must be delivered on time ensuring high technical quality and creativity. Those elements are the foundation of my professional skills.

Leadership always will be present for all kind of jobs in which includes from the lowest position to the highest that a corporate could offer. Going further from this premise leadership involves more than professional aspects but also life itself and how to interact with people and whole environment surrounded. Thinking where the patch that I have chosen are steering me the ability to lead is essential to ensure my interests, such as be promoted to a manger or even to set up my own business.

Leaning how to lead is directly related how much the employee is involved with the company and colleges need. Therefore, looking forward to build up a career and develop my leadership I’ve been volunteering myself to some extra activities, such as work flow lead and technical support trainer.

I am involved in just a few leadership tasks at work and one of them is related to support the team lead managing the diary work flow in order to avoid delays improving the company right first time. Also, as technical support, which I have been delegated recently to train new staffs to ensure that all standards are being followed.
