As technological advances most electronic products are becoming outdated faster and faster
In some cases consumerism can become a disease (kind of addiction). In this case, the consumer person can only get pleasure in life buying things.
In situations like this, is required a professional treatment from a psychologist.
On the other hand there is also conscious consumption, which is one in which people buy products that are truly in need.
Research the best prices and search for products that don’t harm the nature.
consumption is not related just to buying things
Even if you spend the whole day without opening the wallet there is consumption.
when you wake up go to the bathroom and consumes water, electricity, toothpaste, soap etc. when you leave for work if not walking or cycling you consume fuel, even if it is by bus
Consumerism has become a great enemy of the environment. Garbage and other waste generated by packaging and discarded products has caused major environmental problems, especially in large urban centers.
water is being used with irresponsibility and irrationally. Most residential, industrial or agricultural establishments use more water than they need, thus there is a general waste.
Consumption is something that is part of our day-to-day and brings a good feeling but you need to think before consuming in order to future generations have a chance to exist and to live well, according to their needs
