Flying Into A Different Similar Cloud

One day Dean was with his family having fun in his winter holidays, he had one month of holidays from his work. He spent two weeks with his family and then he went to Chicago for a two week holiday. He packed everything up and went to the airport; his family was with him until he left to Chicago. He was doing the check in and everything he had to do and then he thought that it would be a good idea to spend a bit of more time with his wife and kids before he left.

It was time for him to leave and fly to Chicago, he was nervous but happy. Dean knew he would miss his family a lot but it was only a period of two weeks time. There he goes to his trip to Chicago.

When he gets in the airplane, he sees that his friend from high school is in the same flight, Dean hadn’t seen him since high school, and that is quite a long time. His name was Sam, he was a scientist in the KFC (KFC stands for Killner Future Company) and Dean worked as a showman in sports, he buys and sells players from all around the world. Dean went there to talk to Sam.

- How are you doing Sam? Remember me? – said Dean.

- Hey, no I don’t. I’m sorry, who are you again? – said Sam.

- It’s Dean. Don’t you remember, we went to high school together. – said Dean.

- Oh! Hey, yes yes I remember you. I’m doing great thanks, how have you been? – said and asked Sam with a lot of enthusiasm.

- I’m doing great thanks. Man, it’s been so long. – said Dean thinking about the past.

- Yes, I must agree that it has been quite a long time. – said Sam with emphasis in long.

- Where have you been working? Because I haven’t seen you around anywhere. – asked Dean very curious.

- I have been working in…the FBI, always in the HQ; I don’t come out very often just to go home. – said Sam a little scared.

- Oh, ok then that’s why. I thought you worked in something related to science or something because that’s what you went for in college right? – asked Dean with a little bit of doubt.

- Well, no I couldn’t find any jobs that were related to science, or the area I was interested in. – said Sam wanting to avoid the rest of the conversation.

- Man, that’s not good. I’m sorry you couldn’t find any jobs on the area you wanted, that was just unlucky I guess. But anyways, I think I’ll go to my seat and I’ll see you in Chicago! – said Dean laughing at the end.

- Well, ok then I guess I’ll see you then. – said Sam relieved.

Later on the flight Dean noticed that the airplane was flying lower than usual, but he thought it was just for that time he looked out the window. Then Dean felt like going to the toilet and on his way to the toilet there was a huge shaking and he thought it could have been a turbulence but when he looked out the window, it’s like it was a completely different world. He went up to his friend Sam and asked him what was going on.

- Sam, what is going on??? – asked Dean really scared.

- Dean, listen to me. I should have told you before you got into this flight but I didn’t because I thought you could be someone that could help me, which I could trust. You are now entering the year of 2500; you’re not in 2010 anymore. – said Sam.

- WHAT??? Are you serious? Is this a joke or something? – said Dean frustrated.

- No Dean, it’s NOT a joke. And all these people in the airplane aren’t actual people, they are just illusions. – said Sam very serious.

- No no no no no, this can’t be happening. Oh my god, what am I going to do now? – said Dean very frustrated.

- There is no time to feel that way now. Now follow me. – said Sam very serious.

- Well, ok then Sam I guess I have no other choice. – said Dean very confused.

They both went from the airplane directly underground straight to a lab. They went to this lab where thousands of people were working with huge machines and working on enormous machines. Dean started to ask many and many questions but Sam wouldn’t answer him.

Later on, Sam took Dean to a sort of testing place. Once they got there, Dean was getting tested to see if he was good. Dean had no idea of what that meant but he just went with it. Once he was done, they put him inside a machine that he had to control it, so it was sort of a robot that you could command from the inside. After that, Sam and Dean went with these robots outside so Dean could take a look of what was being done.

When they got outside Dean was really impressed but disappointed with what earth had become. Earth looked something like this:

Basically everything he saw Dean was really impressed of what earth had become because of its technology. On the other hand Dean was really disappointed because people didn’t even think about global warming anymore, it was so bad that all around planet earth was “covered” with twisters plus everyone had to walk around in the streets inside cars or simply walk around in these huge suits made out of steel because cars would keep you cool and the huge suits would keep you cool as well but if you had a car then you couldn’t wear a suit, so you could barely see cars around town. Sam was telling Dean that it was more worth it having a suit then a car because you can “walk” around town with it, you can everywhere and the suit keeps you cool plus it has motored wheels under the suit’s “shoes”. They all had to walk around in these suits or inside cars because the ozone layer was very thin already as a result of global warming so earth was as hot as 60º C everywhere.
