RESUMO

Trata-se de uma investigação exploratória quantitativa com o intuito de compreender

o estresse em enfermeiros e técnicos de enfermagem da Unidade de Terapia

Intensiva de um hospital privado, tendo como objetivo analisar a existência do

estresse na equipe de enfermagem e a manifestação dos sinais e sintomas de

estresse nestes indivíduos. A amostra constituiu de 14(70%) participantes de um

total de 20 que atuam na UTI, os dados foram coletados através de entrevistas

individuais semi-estruturadas e de um Inventário de Sinais e Sintomas de LIPP.

Constatou-se a presença de estresse em 71,4% dos trabalhadores, sendo que 50%

deles estavam na fase de resistência, e 30% na fase de quase-exaustão, houve

ainda predominância dos sintomas físicos em 60% sobre os psicológicos (40%). A

equipe vivencia como fatores estressogênicos aspectos relacionados ao estado

crítico do paciente e o acúmulo de empregos.

ABSTRACT

One is about a quanti-qualitative exploratory inquiry with intention to understand it

stress in nurses and technician in nursing of the Unit of Intensive Therapy of a private

hospital, having as objective to analyze the existence of it stress it in the nursing

team, to identify to the elements stressors and the manifestation of the signals and

symptoms of stress in the individuals. The sample constituted of 14 (70%) participant

ones of a total of 20 that the data act in the UTI had been collected through individual

interviews half-structuralized and of an Inventory of Signals and Symptoms of LIPP. It

was evidenced presence of stress in 71.4% of the workers, being that 50% of them

they were in the resistance phase, e 30%, in the almost-exhaustion phase, still had

predominance of the physical symptoms 60% on the psychological ones (40%). The

team lives deeply as estressogênics factors aspects related to the critical state of the

patient and the accumulation of jobs.
