Ted Narracot (Peter Mullan) is a fearless peasant and former war hero. With health problems and drunkenness, he battles with his wife Rose (Emily Watson) and son Albert (Jeremy Irvine) to survive on a rented farm owned by an unscrupulous millionaire (David Tewlis). Tired of the arrogance of the landlord, decides to face it in an auction and ends up buying a horse unsuitable for the services of plowing in their lands. What he did not know was that his son would establish with the animal a connection never imagined. Named for Joey by the young man, the two begin their training and develop skills, but World War I arrived and the British cavalry takes him away without Albert being able to enlist because he is not old enough. Already on the battlefields and for years, Joey shows all his strength and determination, going through various danger situations and different owners, but destiny reserved for him an amazing ending.
Movie Review
A beautiful and exciting story of Joey, a horse that always surpasses the limits imposed since its purchase by the farmer Ted and that surprises to all that come to live with him, and all its fight with the one of its owner Albert so that someday they can Meet again. A friendship story that shows the size of the value the animal has and how much it is equal or smarter than the human being, while all this goes on in World War I and all the useless factors that led to its occurrence. Spielberg once again gives his point of view about war and how there can be humanism and good things in the midst of a bloody part of the world.

Movie Review
The film takes place in 2029, Logan (Hugh Jackman) earns his living as a limousine driver to take care of nonagenarian Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart). Physically weak and emotionally drained, he is wanted by Gabriela (Elizabeth Rodriguez), a Mexican woman who needs help to defend Laura Kinney (Dafne Keen). At the same time that he refuses to return to active duty, Logan is pursued by mercenary Donald Pierce (Boyd Holbrook), interested in the girl. The direction of the film is by James Mangold, he also directed the medium Wolverine Immortal in 2013, but here he does an excellent job of directing, even in the few action scenes, camera movements are very accurate and editing is done the way Correct. The script is very good, the plot is very well built and the dialogues are excellent, besides the end, which is extraordinary. Hugh Jackman gives one of the best interpretations of his career in this film, he is very expressive and is the highlight of the film. Patrick Stewart is also very well playing Xavier, as well as Dafne Keen playing the X-23 and Boyd Holbrook making a great villain for the film.
