Job PurposeThe Senior Sales Executive is responsible for achieving agreed revenue sales targets by developing and maintaining an effective professional liaison with all travel agents, corporate clients, and tour operators within the region. He/she is also responsible for contract negotiations (partly automated) and completion of sales agreements, in coordination with the Sales Support unit.

Contracting

Comprehensive preparation of contract negotiations (incl. individual quotations) in cooperation with Sales Support.

Negotiation of incentive agreements for selected accounts - agents and corporate clients, implementing the proposal and assess performance on a quarterly basis.

Close cooperation with pricing department (e.g. corporate net rates – individual and framework).

Documentation of sales visits and subsequent feedback to Sales Support.

Initiating, organizing and carrying out sales promotion activities as well as incentive and ad-hoc deals within given guidelines.

Steering and monitoring

Monthly evaluation of portfolio development in cooperation with Sales Support.

Weekly planning of customer visits in collaboration with Sales Support.

Arranging and preparing customer visits based on sales visit preparations, supplied by Sales Support.

General tasks

Ensuring that all travel agents, commercial clients, and tour operators are visited on a regular cyclical basis and are aware of Emirates products and services.

Passing on relevant market and competitor information to Sales Support and Sales Manager (market shares analysis on a monthly basis and market trends & competitor activity monitoring with strategies recommendation to counter the competition).

Relationships maintenance and development with key specified accounts to obtain maximum benefit from all revenue opportunities

Responsible to provide targeted presentations and training wherever necessary with key producers, to increase Emirates market share.

Constantly informing customer portfolio about new products and product improvements

Forwarding relevant queries to contact centre.

Development and implementation of agreed sales and marketing plans with accounts throughout the appointed territory in conjunction with the Sales Manager.

Regular feedback discussions with Area Manager/Sales Manager (incl. performance review, target-setting).
