RESUMO

Em 23 de junho de 1930, nascia uma menina negra, que mais tarde se tornaria a mulher apocalíptica com a voz do milênio. Nesse mesmo ano Gilberto Freyre inicia uma aventura no exílio pela Bahia, Portugal e África. O tipo de viagem ideal que ele descreveu deu vida à sua grande obra: Casa - Grande e Senzala. O Ano da Revolução de 1930 também foi um marco na história do período da República brasileira, encerrando a República Velha e encerrando os vínculos políticos entre os oligarcas regionais no Brasil, tendo como figura principal Getúlio Vargas. Com base na bibliografia de Elza Soares e em sua trajetória, poderia servir de roteiro para a discussão do combate ao racismo, violência, violência doméstica e outras violências, sob o viés da antropologia social, de forma questionável, inovadora e atemporal. Com a absoluta convicção de que Elza foi um dos milhares que sofreram e se destacaram, não por ser negra, não por ser mulher, mas por resistir a tudo o que nos foi imposto ao longo da vida.  O interesse pela trajetória da cantora Elza Soares é pano de fundo para uma reflexão acerca da nossa história desde o Brasil colonial que com a escravidão segregou grande parte da população brasileira, e deu margem à interpretação da condição inferior para o homem e para a mulher negra, o que contribuiu negativamente para uma herança social e cultural de preconceito para com negros. Somado a isso, pesa-se o fato de o Brasil ser um país racista que discrimina as “minorias”, como mulheres e negros. Elza Soares, foi dona de uma das maiores e prestigiadas vozes, sua trajetória marcada por transições de dificuldades e sucessos, com discurso onde assumiu entrelaças com toda a sua história, com todo o empoderamento social perceptíveis de toda a sua carreira, com as reações das repressões onde sofreu, que com toda consciência.

ABSTRACT

On June 23, 1930, a black girl was born, who would later become the apocalyptic woman with the voice of the millennium. That same year, Gilberto Freyre began an adventure in exile in Bahia, Portugal and Africa. The kind of ideal trip he described gave life to his great work: Casa - Grande e Senzala. The Year of the Revolution of 1930 was also a landmark in the history of the period of the Brazilian Republic, ending the Old Republic and ending the political ties between the regional oligarchs in Brazil, with Getúlio Vargas as the main figure. Based on Elza Soares' bibliography and on her trajectory, it could serve as a roadmap for the discussion of combating racism, violence, domestic violence and other forms of violence, under the bias of social anthropology, in a questionable, innovative and timeless way. With the absolute conviction that Elza was one of the thousands who suffered and stood out, not for being black, not for being a woman, but for resisting everything that was imposed on us throughout life. The interest in the trajectory of the singer Elza Soares is the background for a reflection on our history since colonial Brazil, which with slavery segregated a large part of the Brazilian population, and gave rise to the interpretation of the inferior condition for black men and women, which contributed negatively to a social and cultural heritage of prejudice against blacks. Added to this, the fact that Brazil is a racist country that discriminates against “minorities”, such as women and blacks, is weighed. Elza Soares, was the owner of one of the greatest and most prestigious voices, her trajectory marked by transitions of difficulties and successes, with a speech where she assumed intertwined with all her history, with all the social empowerment perceptible throughout her career, with the reactions of the repressions where he suffered, than with all conscience.

1. INTRODUÇÃO

No dia 23 de junho de 1930 nasce uma menina negra que mais tarde se tronaria a mulher do fim do mundo com a voz do milênio. Mesmo ano que Gilberto Freyre embarca em uma aventura do exílio passando pela Bahia, Portugal e África. O tipo de viagem ideal descrita por ele que deu vida a sua grandiosa obra: Casa – Grande e Senzala. Ano também da Revolução de 1930 um marco na história do período republicano brasileiro que acabou com à  República Velha e, deu fim às articulações políticas entre as oligarquias regionais do Brasil, tendo como principal protagonista, Getúlio Vargas.
