The Importance of Reading.
Nowadays, in the “modern world”, with all its technologies, people set aside the books and stopped reading, resulting that even more youngsters are uninterested, which means that their vocabulary is getting more and more worse.
Reading is crucial for us humans to learn, it helps us to improve our vocabulary, intelligence, knowledge, reasoning and interpretation, normally people say that they do not have patience or time to read but the reality is that they just do not do it, because it is not a common practice or because is a lot easier to watch a movie (considering that most of the new movies are based on books).
To read is creates possibilities, makes your mind go to places where is impossible to reach in our world, also helps you to understand better the world that we live in, it helps us to become more capable individuals ; always stimulating our mind and thoughts, could also be a hobby and definitely helps you to become “someone” in life.
Know how to read and comprehending, it is what differs us from animals, because let’s face it our rational thinking is priceless, is what make us moving forward, of course emotions are a factor too, but if you really stop to realize, in most of the time we regret the decision that we made by “emotional thoughts”.
When we are little we usually copy everything that we can put eyes on, that is how people are used to learn, so by result, if the parents, that are our primal models, start to read since the beginning is logical to assume that we are going to do the same. The practice of reading has to be encouraged by our families and demanded in our schools.
