Travel Project: Dubai.
For my travel project, I chose to speak of the city of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. Cause the city has magnificent seven-star hotels, the world's tallest tower, artificial islands, underwater hotels, a very interesting cuisine and much more. Dubai is the largest city and emirate of the same name as the United Arab Emirates. The Emirate of Dubai is located on the coast of the Persian Gulf, being one of the seven emirates that make up the country. Dubai is the most populous emirate, among the seven emirates, with approximately 2.718.000 (two million seven hundred and eighteen thousand) inhabitants in 4114 km² (four thousand, one hundred and fourteen square kilometers). It has a local temperature of 39 degrees, and, compared to Brazil, has time zone 7 hours in advance.
Dubai is famous for its grandiose works and strong tourist appeal. Among them, we can highlight the Palm Islands, The World archipelago, the Burj Al Arab hotel and the Burj Khalifa building. Palm Islands are three artificial archipelagos in the shape of palm trees. The islands are the largest sanitation projects in the world and, as a result, the largest artificial islands in the world. The World is an artificial archipelago with about 300 islands, organized in the same way as the world map.
The Burj Al Arab is a luxury hotel, with 231 meters of height, once the tallest skyscraper in the world, with incredible architecture. Now the Burj Khalifa Bin Zayid, formerly known as Burj Dubai, is the largest structure and, therefore, the largest skyscraper ever built by humans, at 828 meters in height and 160 floors.
Talking about cooking, at the top of the five-star list, are the highest-class kitchens like the restaurant of Gary Rhodes, an acclaimed British chef, the Rhodes W1, located at the Grosvenor House Hotel. It's right on top with the excellent Chinese restaurant Noble House, located at Raffles Hotel.
Some people think that there is no night life in Dubai, but this could not be further from the truth. Although in some places of the UAE religiousness is the focus of social life, this scene changes after sunset, with a very cosmopolitan nightlife that can be compared to cities like London or New York! One of the differences of the night in Dubai, when compared to the Brazilian ballads, is the fact that the minimum age for admission is actually respected there. Most places are only open to people over the age of 21, and those who have not yet reached this age can’t drink alcohol. The proof is given through the presentation of the passport. It’s important to remember that our identity card is not valid abroad. But do not think about turning the night, because the excitement begins around 11pm and ends at 3am. Most of the nightclubs, most popular with travelers, are located in hotels near the beaches and almost any hotel will have its own ballad. In addition, it is possible to find many places to go on Sheikh Zayed Road. On the beach, some of the parties are open air and, in that case, there is no dress code. On the other hand, the rule is to always be well-groomed on other occasions. For women, Tuesday is the best day out for the evening, as it is considered Ladies Night, when several bars serve free drinks for women. To save money on entry, the tip is to always arrive early in the place, since many parties offer free entry until certain hours.
