Agradeço primeiramente a Deus por ser essencial em minha vida, autor do meu destino, meu guia e alicerce.

RESUMO

O objetivo deste trabalho é revisar bibliograficamente o Serviço Social no campo da educação, tema amplo e complexo que envolve alternativas teóricas e politicas. Assim, buscou compreender a relação dos assistentes sociais e a educação através de uma revisão de literatura. A educação não é apenas mero desenvolvimento de competências e habilidades pelo homem, mas formá-lo integralmente.

A importância de inserir o Serviço Social na realidade educacional, pois, a assistente social labuta com as questões sociais e vulnerabilidades que se encontra no dia-a-dia da vida escolar, o profissional de serviço social implantado nessa instituição educacional vai ampliar estilos crítico-reflexivo e propositivas ao que se refere às problemáticas, como: baixo rendimento escolar, violência, drogas, alcoolismo, problemas em lidar com as disciplinas, e outras situações conectadas a realidade escolar e social, procurando inserir soluções.

O profissional ao se colocar no ambiente escolar irá realizar um estudo detalhado critico-reflexivo e propositivo voltado à interação entre corpo docente discente e a família, proporcionando atividades interativas que melhore o ambiente escolar, beneficiando a relação entre família, discente, escola e comunidade abarcando as mesmas no processo educativo, de forma direta, procurando coopera para o fortalecimento desta instituição de ensino, tendo como foco a cidadania, autonomia e a perspectiva de um futuro de sucesso.

ABSTRACT

The objective of this work is to review bibliographically the Social Service in the field of education, a broad and complex theme involving theoretical and political alternatives. Thus, he sought to understand the relationship of social workers and education through a literature review. Education is not only a mere development of skills and abilities by man, but an integral formation.

The importance of inserting Social Service in the educational reality, since the social worker toils with social issues and vulnerabilities that is in the daily life of the school life, the social service professional implanted in this educational institution will expand critical- Reflective and propositional aspects related to problems such as low school performance, violence, drugs, alcoholism, problems in dealing with subjects, and other situations connected to school and social reality, seeking to insert solutions.

The professional, when placed in the school environment, will carry out a detailed critical-reflexive and purposeful study focused on the interaction between the teaching faculty and the family, providing interactive activities that improve the school environment, benefiting the relationship between family, student, school and community encompassing The same in the educational process, in a direct way, seeking cooperation for the strengthening of this educational institution, focusing on citizenship, autonomy and the prospect of a successful future.
