Dear Sir/ Madam
I am writing to complain about a SONY BRAVIA 40’ television that I bought on 1st October in the store at Ibirapuera Shopping. The product did not work as expected and after five days I was using the television started to turn off alone. So, I decided to return it on 8thOctober, but the shop assistant convinced me to take the product for technical assistance. He admits having only this way.
Under no circumstances, would I take the product assistance, because of the code in consumer protection, which says that the store should replace the product in 7 days if defective. So, I was within the time prescribed by law. So, I called the salesman and he apologized to me and suggested taking it to the store again to change.
I work full day and I don’t have time to go to the store again. Because this I told the attendant I would like to get the TV in my house. For this service, he said that I have to pay 10 dollars for shipping. It is not my responsibility to pay this, because (ou since) I went to the store 7 days after I bought the product and the shopping assistant did not replace.
The seller recommended writing an e-mail to request that the freight to withdraw the product at home and exchange it for a new one for free. I would like a quick solution for my problem.
