RESUMO

O conteúdo deste projeto visa estabelecer a relação entre os conceitos estudados nas disciplinas Planejamento e Negócios de Saúde, Ética e Relações Humanas no Trabalho e Matemática Financeira,  sua efetiva aplicação em uma empresa de grande porte na Área da Saúde a Operadora de Saúde Unimed Santos. Avaliaremos entre as questões; a atitude da empresa em relação aos planos de negócios, suas formas de financiamento. Abordaremos uma questão amplamente difundida pela organização, o “Desenvolvimento Sustentável” e relataremos suas principais atitudes em relação à Responsabilidade Social Empresarial. Enfocaremos as políticas da instituição com relação à Ética e Desenvolvimento Social e de que forma ocorre a participação efetiva de seus colaboradores nestas políticas. Em paralelo procuraremos demonstrar a importância da aplicação da Matemática Financeira na influência de decisões e tomadas do gestor. Consequentemente, visamos através deste estudo pontuar possibilidades de melhorias na instituição como um todo.

ABSTRACT

The content of this project aims to establish the relationship between the concepts studied in the disciplines of Business Planning and Health, Ethics and Human Relations at Work and Financial Mathematics, its effective implementation in a large company in the Health Area Health Operator Unimed Santos. We evaluate among the issues; Company attitude towards business plans, forms of financing. We discuss an issue widely held by the organization, the "Sustainable Development" and report its main attitudes towards Corporate Social Responsibility. We focus on the policies of the institution regarding the Ethics and Social Development and in what way is the effective participation of its employees in these policies. At the same time we try to show the importance of the application of Financial Mathematics in influencing decisions and actions of the manager. Consequently, we aim through this study point possibilities for improvements in the institution as a whole.
