A Origem das Bruxas

Não se sabe ao certo a verdadeira origem das bruxas, mas a teoria mais aceita é que o surgimento delas veio na Idade Média.

As mulheres que eram consideradas muito inteligentes ( na maioria dos casos, tinham muito conhecimento sobre ervas medicinais) ou possuíam algum poder (social), eram consideradas bruxas. Bruxa – é uma palavra que vem do italiano “bruciare” que significa queimar (brucia) e do sânscrito que significa “mulher sábia”.

As bruxas eram denominadas sábias, até a Igreja lhes atribuir o significado secundário de mulheres dominadas por instintos inferiores.[pic 1] Junto a patriarcado atribuído pela Igreja, veio, também, a ideia de que essas mulheres eram objetos de pecado utilizado pelo diabo.

Segundo os teóricos do assunto, a epidemia de bruxas ocorreu nos séculos XVI e XVII, no norte da França, no sul e oeste da Alemanha e em especial na Inglaterra e na Escócia, onde houve grande perseguição às bruxas.

Os colonizadores ingleses levaram esse procedimento para a América do Norte, onde, em 1692, ocorreu o famoso processo contra as bruxas de Salém, em Massachusetts.[pic 2]

Existem bruxas atualmente e, são mulheres que possuem uma “vida normal”. Estas, apenas possuem em si o desejo da busca do equilíbrio. Para isso, fazem, por exemplo, rituais em trocas de estações e se sentem responsáveis por servir à Terra.

The origin of the Witches

No one knows for sure the true origin of the witches, but the most accepted theory is that the emergence of them came in the middle ages.

Women who were considered very intelligent (in most cases, have much knowledge about medicinal herbs) or had some power (social), were considered witches. Witch-is a word that comes from the Italian "bruciare" which means burning (bruttium) and the Sanskrit meaning "wise woman".

The witches were called wise, until the Church give the secondary meaning of women dominated by lower instincts. [pic 3] Along the Patriarchate by Church, came, too, the idea that these women were objects of sin used by the devil.

According to theorists of the subject, the epidemic of witches occurred in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, in Northern France, in the South and West of Germany and especially in England and in Scotland, where there was great persecution of witches.

The English settlers took this procedure to North America, where, in 1692, there was the famous case against the witches of Salem, in Massachusetts.[pic 4]

There are witches today and, are women who have a "normal life". These only have the desire of seeking balance. To do, for example, rituals in trading of stations and feel responsible for serving the Land.
