Professional experience and skills

The Technical in Interior Design is the professional who designs, develops, details, executes and monitors projects for residential and commercial interiors, creatively solving and technical problems related to functionality, aesthetics and quality of the project, enabling people comfort, quality life and efficiency in its activities.

These professionals work as autonomous, individually or in teams. They may also act as service providers in interior design firms, architecture and interior design stores.

Profile of competences:

 To design interior projects according to the customer profile and space characteristics.

 Develop detailed design of residential and commercial interiors, researching and specifying products and materials.

 Represent interior design and furniture in its various stages, using precision tools CAD-2D.

 Details, implement and monitor the development of interior design

Skills to be developed in the course Executive Project

 Develop basic detailed design stages considering methods of building installations.

 Detail the basic executive design of residential interiors.

Methodology

The methodology should involve analysis and problem solving, case studies, projects, research and other strategies that integrate theory and practice and focus on the work context, in order to stimulate the analytical perception and contextualization of information, the hypothetical reasoning, problem solving, the appropriation of existing knowledge and building new values ​​and knowledge.

In this sense:

 pedagogical practice should offer affordable challenges participants through questions, problems and cases related to reality, experience and / or previous knowledge of these, facilitating the assignment of meaning;

 questions and activities should be directed to the application in real work situations;

 will be stimulated studies on learning environments, lab activities, monitored practical activities, technical visits to companies and industry organizations, supervised internship, where necessary;

 it is important to provide conditions for the exchange of ideas among the participants, encouraging them to find new possibilities of applying knowledge in real situations of professional context.

Program Development

The learning sessions will last four hours and are described in the Technical Data Sheets presented below. For each session, posted the skills to be developed, learning situations provided for the development of skills, the resources necessary to the learning situation and the time allotted for each.

In each session, you will also find the item "result or product", which should be used as a basis for the ongoing assessment of student performance. These results, fruits of a formal assessment activity or not, show the development of existing competencies, supporting the registration of student assessment concepts.
