Tell us about yourself: Well my name is Maria Rafaela, but you can call me by Rafaela, I am 25 years old and live in São José dos Campos city. I’ve been working for the past 5 years for Wolters Kluwer, I started out as a service desk analyst and have been promoted to support sales analyst. Meanwhile, I graduated from Anhanguera, where I got my license degree in Administration and finished my MBA in International Business, I had the opportunity to make an exchange from Vancouver where I could improve my English, and now am I planning a new exchange to the next month but to improve my Spanish.

Why do you want to be a flight attendant?: So, I grew up in a city that is headquarters the bigger civil aviation companies, I have almost 10 years’ experience with customer service and I have contact with customers every day and I am familiarize to work under pressure, so when I think about my experience and my passion for aviation and the fact that I love to learn new languages and cultures, I got to a conclusion that being a cabin crew would be a perfect match for me.

Why do you want to work for us? Why do you think GOL is the best company for you? Why do you want to apply for our airline? Why do you want to join us?: I was waiting for an opportunity in Gol, I always heard good things about this airline and our services and the way that the company worry with the fact to bring people together and in security. I’d love to be part of eagle team that’s dynamic and continuously try to innovate and become the leading in this industry.

What qualities should a flight attendant have? In my opinion a flight attendant need to be a good communicated and a team player, and the most important quality is to be preparade to anything that could compromise flight safety and ensure that passengers have a great flying experience.

Do you have any customer service experience? I have been working in customer service for the past ten years. I started as a training in a construction store, I worked as a receptionist in an English School, I have experience as a service desk analyst and nowadays I work in the commercial area, I have learned how to listen and show empathy whenever a customer has an issue. I am also very experienced in training customer and problem-solving. I really enjoy helping others, which is why I am excited about this opportunity!

How do you deal with the change? I consider myself a very adaptable person, I am from the interior and I have had the opportunity to work in the capital, and during this period I learned how much adaptation is a matter of evolution, already lives in an exchange that even in a short period I had to adapted to live in a foreign family and also to a culture completely different from Brazil. So changes is the most exciting things that should be happy in yours lives.

What languages do you speak? I speak native Portuguese, almost fluent English, and a little of Spanish and Libras.

 

Are you willing to relocate for the job? I am willing to relocate. I believe that is the opportunity I’ve been lonking for.
