MELHORIA NA CAPACIDADE PRODUTIVA ATRAVÉS DA TEORIA DAS RESTRIÇÕES EM UMA EMPRESA DE CONFECÇÃO DO VALE DO PARANHANA

O objetivo deste artigo é apresentar os resultados de uma pesquisa realizada em uma empresa de confecção de médio porte do Vale do Paranhana. Para o desenvolvimento da mesma, foram utilizadas algumas ferramentas, como a Árvore da Realidade Atual para identificar os principais efeitos indesejados e a causa raiz dos problemas, o Processo de Focalização em Cinco Etapas para explorar a restrição dos sistema produtivo, ambas da Teoria das Restrições e também a Curva ABC para identificar o produto mais importante financeiramente para empresa. Como resultados obtidos temos o aumento da capacidade da linha de produção estudada e a redução dos estoque intermediários de matéria prima.

IMPROVEMENT IN PRODUCTION CAPACITY THROUGH THE THEORY OF CONSTRAINTS ON A CLOTHING COMPANY OF VALE DO PARANHANA

Abstract

The objective of this paper is to present the results of an academic research conducted in a midsize clothing company of Vale do Paranhana. For its development, some tools, such as the Current Reality Tree, were used to identify the main unwanted effects and the root cause of the problems, the Process of Focusing on Five Steps to exploit the productive system restriction, both the Theory of constraints and also the ABC Analysis, to identify the most financially important product for the company. The obtained results are the increase production capacity of the studied line and the reduction of intermediate raw material stock.
