RESUMO: Este artigo tem por objetivo apresentar uma breve revisão da literatura

referente a algumas considerações de livros, artigos científicos e legislação que tratam

da medida socioeducativa de internação, abordando diversos sub temas relevantes para

compreensão dessa medida adotada no Brasil, através do Estatuto da Criança e do

Adolescente (ECA) com o intuito de ressocializar menores infratores que cometeram

delitos graves. Serão abordados neste artigo, aspectos gerais acerca do menor infrator,

os centros educacionais e seu papel ressocializador, reincidência e ineficácia da medida

de internação, dentre outros. Vale ressaltar que a pesquisa possibilitou conclusões

relevantes, como por exemplo, a evidência que os índices de reincidências entre os

menores infratores ainda encontram-se elevados. As dificuldades na execução da

medida socioeducativa de internação referem-se à inexistência de unidades

especializadas para executar a medida de internação, alem disso, evidenciou a

importância da imediata capacitação de todos os profissionais envolvidos com o

processo de ressocialização do menor infrator , para se fazer cumprir o foco da medida

socioeducativa de internação.

ABSTRACT: This article aims to present a brief review of the literature regarding

some considerations of books, scientific articles and legislation that deal with the

socioeducative measure of hospitalization, addressing several sub - themes relevant to

understanding this measure adopted in Brazil through the Statute of the Child And

Adolescents (ECA) with the aim of resocializing minor offenders who committed

serious crimes. In this article, general aspects about the juvenile offender, the

educational centers and their resuscitizing role, recurrence and ineffectiveness of the

hospitalization measure, among others, will be approached in this article. It is worth

mentioning that the research made possible relevant conclusions, such as the evidence

that the rates of recidivism among minor offenders are still high. The difficulties in the

execution of the socio-educational measure of hospitalization refer to the inexistence of

specialized units to carry out the hospitalization measure, besides, it showed the

importance of the immediate training of all the professionals involved with the process

of resocialization of the juvenile offender, to be done The socio-educational measure of

hospitalization.
