RESUMO

O presente artigo analisa o assédio moral no trabalho, apresentando seu histórico num contexto nacional e dando enfoque aos acontecimentos no município de Acopiara. São expostas as diferenças entre assédio moral e assédio sexual apresentando em gráficos como as pessoas tem uma visão deturpada do assunto ao passo que mostra quão elevado é o número de pessoas que já tenham sofrido ou que conhecem quem tenha sofrido tal abuso, o artigo mostra como o assédio pode ser identificado no trabalho, e as consequências que tal pratica repugnante pode trazer ao indivíduo, às empresas e à sociedade. Este trabalho apresenta a necessidade e manutenção da saúde e bem-estar do empregado no ambiente de trabalho e apresenta como os tribunais têm julgado os casos, visto o Brasil não possuir legislação específica.

ABSTRACT

This article analyzes the harassment at work, showing its history in a national context and giving focus to the events in the city of Acopiara. Is exposed the differences between harassment and sexual harassment showing in graphics as people have a distorted vision of the subject while shows how high the number of people who have suffered or who know someone who has suffered such abuse, the article shows how the harassment can be identified in the work, and the consequences that such practices disgusting can bring to individual, businesses and society. This work presents the need and maintaining employee health and well-being in the workplace and presents how the courts have judged the cases seen Brazil does not have specific legislation.
