Abstract

Compared literature and its interdisciplinarity is the focus of the reviewed text. Through the analysis of the speech Tania Carvalhal Franco proposes to analyze the transformations that the comparative literature has passed through the times. The questions that support the author's text are related to the expansion of the comparative literature and its migration through different areas. His new methods of analysis become varied and leave literary historiography behind, prioritizing theoretical foundations in the use of critical instruments, having an interdisciplinary character, without linguistic boundaries. The purposes of Russian formalists and Marxists are equal to those of comparative literature, as they attributed to literary works autonomy, self-sufficiency, which is organically constructed, considering these works reflecting social phenomena, leaving aside the author's biography and data historical data at the time of its production. Carvalhal's text contains 15 pages, it is objective, structured, well written and easy to understand. When analyzing the title "Comparatism and interdisciplinarity", we realize that it follows the characteristics of scientific texts, being short, informative, clearly showing the idea of ​​what will be treated in its course. The way the text is presented by Carvalhal in his introduction, allows the reader to easily understand what will be treated in the text, through a rich exposition of the topic to be approached.
